I arrived at my foster home on Valentine’s Day so I guess that is why I was named Valentina. I have 2 sisters and a brother all pugs like me so that makes me feel comfortable.
I am looking for a furever home that will give me the love and affection I never got in my previous life and I will be more than happy to return the love to you. I am a fast learner. I learned my name in about a week although mom calls me “Tina” for short. I am blind in one eye so if it is dark outside I appreciate it if a light is turned on so I can do my business and find the door to get back in.
My foster mom makes sure I go potty before we go to bed at night and my foster dad lets me out when he gets up to make coffee before he leaves for work approx. 5:30am or if he has the day off its around 7-8am.
I am in training now on using the stairs to get up/down from the deck to the yard and I require a fenced yard so I know my limitations. No fear, I have no intentions of running away although if I do come up missing you will find me tucked in the pillows on your bed as I can do bed stairs. If you don’t have bed stairs (available at Bed, Bath & Beyond with a 20% off coupon) you will have to lift me into bed as I do not jump. You don’t get much exercise in a wire cage and have no need to jump, that why my back legs are a little weak. But I love the massages my mom gives me to get them stronger.
During the day my foster mom is home all day so I get very little unsupervised time. During the evenings I enjoy being in your lap being petted and love while you watch TV. Granted I will likely dose off to sleep a few times before bed. My current family doesn’t like kennels since I have been in a cage my whole life. But I am sure I can get used to it while you are at work if need be, I will be waiting for you to get home for some love’n.
If you would like more info about me complete the adoption form. I will be waiting to hear from you soon.
